Dr. Burns Kramer received both her Doctorate and her Master's of Science in Counseling Psychology from the University of Kansas.

Dr. Burns Kramer has worked in a variety of settings: Community Mental Health Clinics, University Counseling Centers, Partial-Hospitalization Program, and private practice. She has served as the Interim Coordinator of the Mindful Eating Program at the University of Texas and as the Clinical Director at Cedar Springs Austin, an eating disorder treatment center. She enjoys working with interdisciplinary teams to address eating concerns, and she is passionate about helping this population recover. She actively sought out the CEDS certification from the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals, and she continues to add to her knowledge by attending ongoing trainings within the field of eating disorders.

In addition to eating disorders, Dr. Burns Kramer’s other clinical interests are anxiety, postpartum challenges, and relationship concerns.
